Today, before you go to bed, lay out your exercise clothes for the morning.
Or plan exactly what you will do on your diet.
Or lay out your journal and a pen and your Bible or the book you’re currently making your way through.
Or plan to take a simple 10 minute walk.
Or do only 10 situps.
Or schedule an alert on your phone for 8pm so you will log all of your spending for the day.
Whatever it is that you need to tackle today, make it easy on yourself. Don’t overplan. Pick one thing that will help you get closer to your goal even if it feels like you’re tossing a raindrop into the Grand Canyon.
Do that one thing for a week. See if that one thing doesn’t lead to other ‘one things.’
