I have violated Whole30 by weighing myself. I started this journey back on January 1, 2021. I needed to reboot due to a death in the family, but outside of about 3 days, I’ve been consistently tackling 75Hard and using Whole30 as my diet plan.
On January 1, I weighed in at 223.5. This morning (February 3), I weighed in at 207.7.
I’m encouraged, but realize this is a lifetime effort. I might not be attacking things quite so violently, but I’m 9 months away from turning 50 and staying healthy and fit and developing greater mental toughness will not get easier the older I get.
My commitments right now are all about reestablishing a baseline for my health and habits.
